About Barbara Fordham Barbara is a well respected Brisbane based vocalist with a voice that has captivated audiences locally and Australia wide for the past 20 years. She has been regarded by many as a great singer with natural charisma, beauty and an honest, heart-felt delivery. She has traveled with music and theatre to most of our capital cities and to the remotest parts of Australia such as Arnemland with live bands, main house theatre productions and the in-schools ‘Musica Viva’ program. Fourteen years ago I was privileged to tour Australia for 6 months on the Australian National Performing Arts Circuit – performing 6 nights a week. Along the way I fell in love with the sound engineer Neil Neilsen (Bass player with ‘The Goodbye Notes’ also‘ The Captain’ ukulele man) and the father of our two beautiful children.” Barbara Fordham.
